About Yamato Shizu
In the original sense, Yamato Shizu means Shizu Saburou Kaneuji.
Before moving from Yamato(modern Nara Prefecture) to Mino(modern Gifu Prefecture), he called Yamatoshizu the work he wrote with the name Kaneuji.
However, even after move, the local people used the name "Kaneuji", so it is use for other sword smith.
The Fitting that comes with this sword is a great piece.
The paulownia leaves drawn in gold and the red lines are very beautiful.

This sword is beautiful and valuable in terms of materials, so it has been designated as a "Jyuyo Token" by a public interest incorporated foundation(NBTHK).
There is also dignity and it is very beautiful.
And it is rare that it has been restored to the shape of Naginata.
legend about this sword, it is said that it came from the Nishio Family, the lord of Yokosuka.
