About Takada
Takada school is a group of swordsmiths who made Japanese swords in Takada, Bungo Province from the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period.
There is little material about Takada school, so they are a mystery.
Many powerful tribes fought to occupy Hakata, which was a trading hub during the Muromachi period.
Therefore, Takada swords were produced in response to the demand of the battle.
On the other hand, the swordsmith who was making Japanese swords under the defeated family has declined.
POINT
This sword has a beautiful warp typical of the Muromachi period.
Originally made in the Yamato style, styles such as Bizen have been mixed since the Muromachi period.
It is a timeless Japanese sword that is a mixture of various schools.
