First KUNIKANE served Date Masamune during the Keicho era and made Japanese swords.
He was born into the best swordsmith family in Tohoku.
The family line will continue for 13 generations until the Meiji era.

*Yamato Province (modern Nara Prefecture) follows the style of Yamatoden. It is a straight Hamon, with a strong warp in the middle, and a rich movement of the Hamon.

Therefore, Yamato Province has followed the style of swords that came from the continent.
This sword with a certificate called "Tokubetu Hozon Token (Special Preservation Sword) :NBTHK".
The fitting of this sword was made in the Edo period, and the "Tsuba" is wrapped with gold shrimp.
This sword is a very good style sword.
