His Father was born in Yamato-Province, modern Nara Prefecture.
And his Family moved to Settsu-Province modern Osaka and Hyogo Prefecture.
Kaneshige was loved by the Mizuno family, who was a daimyo.
It has the shape of a Japanese sword peculiar Kanbun.
At that time, sword smiths made swords with little warp that were ideal for kendo thrusting.
This sword is "WAZAMONO", which is a word that expresses sharpness.
From the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the Edo period, they made trial cuts and ranked the sharpness of Japanese swords.
For the samurai at that time, the sharpness of the sword determines whether it was alive or dead in battle, so it was an important point when choosing a sword.
