Hizenkoku Tadayoshi

About Tadayoshi
He studied under UMETADA MYOJYU.
Umetada is said to be the ancestor of the Keicho new sword.
Tadayoshi was born in Hizen Province(modern Saga Prefecture and Nagasaki Prefecture), and his Father was a senior vassal of the daimyo.
His father died in the war and he moved to Doudanuki's house(Dodanuki is famous Sword smith) for 13 years of making sword training.
The book "Kaiho Kenjyaku", which ranks swords, Tadayoshi received the highest rating(Saijyo Oowazamono).
After that, he went to Tokyo to study swords under UMATADA MYOUJYU(埋忠) and returned to Hizen Province a few years later.
POINT
The surface of his Japanese sword is very beautiful and unique. The name is called "Konuka Hada(小糠肌)".
Konuka Hada is used to express moisturizing and delicateness, like rice bran.
It is one of the Japanese swords that are highly evaluated and in high demand both in Japan and overseas.
