Hidarimutsu is left-handed, so he writes letters in reverse like a mirror.
Let's move on to the story of his father's Japanese sword(His dad name Kaneyasu = 包保)...
Normally, SHINTO(1596~) is a sword with little warpage, but Kaneyasu's sword has a relatively strong warp. Therefore, it is a work that even Japanese sword lovers who love swords with strong warpage such as the Kamakura period can enjoy.
In contrast to his father, his sword has less warping and is in a style suitable for the thrust that was popular at the  time.
Hidarimutsu served Mr. Mizuno, who was a daimyo of Shinshu Matsumoto.
There are extremely few Japanese swords whose names are written on the left like this.
It is a very beautiful and precious sword.

Fittings 拵(Koshirae)

This fitting is made of lacquer and blue shell as described in the summary section of the youtube video.
Aogai(blue shell) was a luxury item that was said to be more expensive than gold in the Edo period.
The Tsuba attached to this fitting is made of iron, and the design is made by driving gold powder.
This Fittings was a very high-class item at that time, and it is thought that it was made by a samurai of a considerable family.
Menuki* is also made of gold. ＊Menuki is the decoration of the part where the fitting pattern is fastened.
