About Adachi Yoshiaki

He was born in Tokyo in 1946. He studied under Kanyama Sato, a master of Japanese sword appraisal, After graduating from Meiji Gakuin University and then learned swords from the Living National Treasure, SUMITANI SEIHO.
He built a factory in Kisegawa, Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and started making swords.
Therefore, his sword may have "Kisegawa jyu" written on it.
He is one of Japan's leading swordsmiths who has won numerous awards from Showa to Heisei.
It is a very beautiful Japanese sword with a style similar to that of the master SUMITANI SEIHO.
He sought technology from the Kamakura period and worked hard to recreate the FUKUOKA ICHIMONJI school.
He was a modern genius, but unfortunately he died early.
