Osahune IESUKE

Osahune School IESUKE is most famous Sword smith at Muromachi Period.
He's Sword modeling ancient swords(Heian Era Likely 1000years ago) the shape is quite beautiful.

Bizen Osahune is modern Setouchi City, Okayama.
Bizen Osahune school, which is a leading brand of Japanese swords.
Many famous swordsmiths were born in present-day Okayama prefecture, which was blessed with the production of iron sand, which is the raw material for Japanese swords.

Iesuke is one of the swordsmiths called "Oei Bizen"
 The leading figures in "Oei Bizen" are Morimitsu and Yasumitsu.

This sword is called a sword that helps(助 Suke =means help) the family(家 Ie=means home,(家族=Family)), and has been cherished since ancient times as a sword that invites longevity and good luck.

And this sword fittings is a work made of gold that can only be made by a daimyo family.
It must have been an important sword of a famous samurai.

Point

One theory is that Osahune Sword smith(Oei Bizen Swords) was the last to play an active role.
Oei Bizen's sword smith tried to reproduce the Japanese swords of the Heian period and the luxurious Japanese swords of the Kamakura period.
Compared to the swords of the later era, the swords of Oei Bizen have extremely high technical capabilities and dignity.
